Clasps are part of a concealed fixing system for ventilated rainscreen façades and are used together with undercut anchors. They are mounted on undercut anchors installed in the façade panels and transfer the loads from the panels to the horizontal profiles. The coordinated geometry allows the clasps to be suspended quickly and easily in the horizontal profiles. Two clasps positioned at the top on the outside include adjustment screws to regulate the panel height and create a consistent joint pattern. Clasps are available as fixed or sliding points. Fixed points are secured by accessories such as clamps or profiles, while sliding points allow thermal expansion of the system. In combination with undercut anchors, the clasps provide stress-free fixing of façade panels and can be pre-assembled to save time during installation.
Vertical aluminium profiles are part of subframe systems used in ventilated rainscreen façades for applications with higher load requirements. They transfer vertical loads and pass them on to the subsequent subframe elements. The profiles are connected to other subframe components using system rivets or self-tapping screws. Together with wall holders and their projection, the geometry of the vertical profiles determines the façade offset and enables compensation of structural tolerances in the building substrate. Façade panels can be fixed directly to the vertical profiles either visibly with rivets or screws or invisibly using adhesive methods. The profiles can also function as distance substructures or as base structures for horizontal systems with concealed fixings using undercut anchors. Various geometries allow adaptation to different cladding materials, and the profiles are available in uncoated or black anodised aluminium.
