Diploma in Cosmetology/Beauty Therapy/Beauty Culture from a recognized Institution
Candidate must have effective communication skills (oral and written), Computer literacy & be well-versed in program coordination and working with people
Only Male candidates preferred
Age: Below 37 years.
Experience: Minimum of 1 years of work experience in a similar profession
Training Provider will ensure that the Vocational teachers imparts Training in BEAUTY & WELLNESS sector to students enrolling for the programme as per NSQF guidelines with a view to get them employed in the sector, if they wish to. Training Provider shall endeavor to achieve the following:
a. The Vocational teacher should report day to day administrative and functional matters to the head of the institutions of the School and for all other matters it will be to the Training Provider.
b. Counseling of the students and parents by the trainer before enrollment of the students to NSQF course as per SSA instructions in coordination with head of the institutions.
c. Understand the existing content of the curriculum and get it delivered effectively in the class room in both Kannada & English languages.
d. Ensure conduction of internal assessments of students on a weekly / monthly basis as per the assessment pattern mentioned in GOI guidelines.
e. Conduct soft skills training, including preparing the students for work as per the industry requirement.
f. Inviting and organizing guest lecturers from domain related experts working in that Sector.
g. Training delivery as per NSQF curriculum approved by Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Central Institute of Vocational Education (PSSCIVE), Completion of the syllabus with strict timelines prescribed by SSA/Head of the institution. Ensure quality parameters are met.
h. Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation of students for each Level must be done as per Schedule.
i. Conduct practical classes as per the syllabus
j. Organize Field visits, internships, guest lectures, placements, assistance in setting up of labs and other activities in coordination with the Vice-Principal or the Head Master.
k. Facilitate evaluation & assessments with Sector Skills Council.
l. Teacher should update the class activities and also other details in MIS (Management Information System) of NSQF Project regularly.
m. The trainer should oversee that the students maintains assignment book & portfolio for the evaluation.
n. In case the deployed teachers misbehave with officers, staff, parents, students & public his services will be terminated.
Other responsibilities of the Teacher:
i. Closely work with head of the institutions on timetable adjustments and other NSQF Project activities i.e. field visits / guest lectures, internships, lab setup, training, placement and meetings.
ii. Follow the instructions and perform responsibilities entrusted by the Vice-Principal/ Head Master from time to time.
iii. Maintenance of records and send periodical reports in consultation with Vice-Principal/ Head Master.
iv. Ensure that the lab is in good working condition and assist Vice-Principal in maintenance of the lab and procurement of consumables required for the lab as per norms.
