Kiran Chandra Patro is a senior consultant Nephrologist at Bangalore, NU hospitals. He did his schooling from National Public school, Rajajinagar, after which, he completed his MBBS from well-known JJMMC, Davangere. After completing his MBBS, he went on to do his post-graduation in General Medicine followed by super specialty in Nephrology. He has been associated with field of Nephrology since 2005. He worked as consultant Nephrologist initially at Bhimavarm hospitals and since 2009 has been associated with NU hospitals as full time Nephrologist. He deals regularly with complicated hypertension, diabetic kidney diseases, glomerular diseases, proteinuria, microscopic hematuria, reversible and irreversible renal failures, renal biopsies, ABO incompatible and ABO compatible renal transplantations and chronic tubular diseases.
He has presented various papers and most papers have been awarded. He has published in various well known peer reviewed journals and authored chapters in books.
