Recipient of several prestigious awards for unstinting service advanced/intensive training in surgical oncology. Hands-on expertise of over three decades in the field of oncology from the grass root levels in the rural and urban areas.
He is the promoter Director and Consultant Surgical Oncologist Bangalore Institute of Oncology, pioneering the first comprehensive and dedicated multi-disciplinary cancer in India. Instrumental in starting Department of Oncology at several premier medical colleges in Bangalore and Karnataka Founder Trustee and Chairman for research organizations and charitable trusts working towards the cause of cancer patients.
