The feeder chute is a well proven design. All parts of the feeding device exposed to any heat effect are water cooled. The whole mechanical feeding system is located in an airtight shell, ensuring no leakages of dust, waste material or gases. Thus any emissions into the environment are prevented. The chute feeder is equipped with vibration chute which is adjustable in the depth from 80 to 240 mm per hand wheels over toothed rails. The chute is designed to prevent the waste from being compacted and allows for a uniform distribution across the grate. This is the basic requirement to obtain an even combustion.The R& S chute feeder has a material bin of approx. 2, 500 mm filling height and 600 mm depth. Through photo cells, the fibres are held at a constant level. It is fed by a pipe funnel with injection cover (ø 300 mm) or optional, with pipe connection for the fibre refeeding of the edge suction. Optionally, the material bin can be equipped with covers at the front and at the back side, as well as in both side areas for an existing filter station. These covers are equipped with connection pipes. Two feed rollers and one stripping roller are allocated in the base frame which are visible across the whole working width through windows in the cleaning flap.
