The Hindu Pilgrimage the Sabarimala is one of the most important pilgrimages of the Southern India and is located in the Pathanamthitta District of the Indian state Kerela. The place falls on the on the mountainous Western Ghats. People believed that that in Sabarimala, the Hindu God Ayyatappan after slaughtering the demoness Mahishi, had meditated on this place. Here in Sabarimala only the men visit the temple. The ladies between the age span of 10 to 50 years are not permitted to visit the Ayappa temple in Sabarimala.
