About Us
Valley of Birds Homestay is a simple farm house situated 3500 feet above sea level in the Western Ghats at the foothills of Kemmanagundi, a hill station that was the summer retreat of the former King of Mysore HRH Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. Kemmanagundi is about 250 km from Bangalore.
The Home Stay is located on a seven acre Areca nut and Coffee plantation. Valley of Birds Homestay is the perfect place to relax and rejuvenate in rural surroundings. Take a walk in the jungle adjacent to the Homestay, visit the Temples and water falls of Kemmanagundi or just relax and enjoy the distance from urbanization. The Homestay is amidst a wide variety of flowering plants and fruit trees.
Tariff
Rs.1, 750.00 per person per night inclusive of all three meals. Children below 5 years complementary (share parent’s bed) children 6 to 12 years will be charged 50 % of the adult tariff. The above rates are applicable for additional person/persons sharing the same room. Driver stays free.
